Positions and Nominations for CBCMHA AGM, in conjunction with the bylaws of said association, the following positions are up for election:

• Secretary (Lyndsey Perry Re-Offering)

• VP House (C) League

• Novice Coordinator

The following positions are vacant:

• President

• VP Rep

• Registrar

• Risk Management

• Discipline

• Ice Allocation

• Development

Criteria for those qualified to run for positions

Must be a “Member in Good Standing”

A member in good standing is all parents and or guardians of eligible players and citizens who are managers, coaches or actively volunteering with Cape Breton County Minor Hockey Association. Members in good standing have paid all their dues and fees to the Association and have not had their membership suspended or revoked.

For President or Vice President Rep Positions

To be eligible as an applicant for President or Vice President (Rep), a nominee must be an existing Director or have previously served as a Director of the Association.

The Membership may nominate individuals for a Director position by providing notice to the Secretary not less than 14 days prior to the annual general meeting. Such notice shall set out the name of the individual nominated. The nomination must be signed by the nominee indicating that he or she is willing to accept the position if elected. The nomination and the endorsement of the (5) members and the eligibility of the member will be verified by the secretary and executive director.
