Welcome to 2021/2022 Hockey season
I would just like to say welcome back to a new season of hockey at Cape Breton County Minor Hockey Association. We have had our challenges with Covid 19 protocol and will continue to meet these challenges until the pandemic is over and manageable. As you may be aware County Arena did have a recent exposure. Our Safety Coordinator, Natalia Gallant worked closely with Public Health and Hockey Nova Scotia in communicating with our membership in a timely and professional manner .
I understand that it is difficult and concerning following Covid guidelines but with the recent exposure we all need to ensure we follow these guidelines. We have to make sure that all our members are kept safe and able to have a great hockey season.
The screening process is in place for the safety of our membership and our volunteers are required to screen as per Public Health guidelines. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process.
As you are aware, the guidelines will be changing Monday October 4th. Spectators are required to show Proof of Vaccination before being permitted in any Arena. Again, the Safety Reps are required to gather this info as per Public Health guidelines. Please be respectful.
A Vaccine record can be obtained by going to the following link: https://novascotia.flow.canimmunize.ca/en/portal

I know as CBCMHA members we will all do what we have to do to make this a great season for all County Members ( players / Coach’s Staff / Parents / Exec ). A big thank you to all the Team Safety Reps.
As always, the Executive for CBCMHA does an exceptional job. Many thanks to all for their dedication to making CBCMHA the best in Nova Scotia !!.
Stay Safe and Keep your Stick on the Ice
Have a Great Season!
