We will update you as best we can with what we know to date.

 

Following the meeting on Oct 26th regarding the need for a second Coach - several volunteers stepped up and we confirmed a coaching staff for a second team.  A special thanks to those who have offered to coach our players.

 

Following the ice time on Sunday Oct 29th, it was soon realized that we only had one goaltender for two teams.  A "goalie" position was indicated at time of registration, which was an error.  This was confirmed.

 

So the search for a second goaltender began.  Robb MacPherson (VP C League) reached out to all Associations to let them know our situation and the need for a goalie.  Robb also discussed the situation with our Regional Director and our options moving forward.

 

As of yesterday, we have learned that one of our "players" may be interested in being a goalie and Robb is waiting for confirmation from this player.  

 

We have also proposed the possibility of a goaltender from U15C playing U18C.  This will need approval from the Regional Director.

 

We are hopeful that one of the two options will be confirmed today.

 

Associations have been contacted and games scheduled this weekend have been cancelled and will be rescheduled.  

 

Both Saturday and Sunday ice times are scheduled and our plan is to have two scrimmages, so Coaching staff can finalize their team rosters.
